Sales representative IT solutions

At our Leinfelden-Echterdingen location, we are looking for a committed, experienced sales person who appreciates flat structures, short decision-making paths and associated development opportunities for the development and expansion of our software solutions.

Job description

Your field of work covers all facets of marketing and sales. You will be equally involved in the development of sales strategies and the definition of measures for their implementation. You plan sales campaigns to acquire new customers and implement them consistently. You will present our products in client meetings and advise the client with specific solution concepts. You prepare quotations, conduct contract negotiations and bring the lead to a successful conclusion. You will provide temporary support for the implementation of the contract and take over the long-term support of the new clients. You will play a key role in the further development and expansion of sales – and you’ll have opportunities to take on responsibility.

Your tasks

  • Active marketing and sales of our solutions and services.
  • Acquisition of new clients, support and development of existing clients.
  • Organization and execution of product presentations and consulting meetings.
  • Presentation of our service portfolio at specialist and management level.
  • Preparation of quotes/offers and contract negotiations.
  • Carrying out market research, campaigns, trade fairs and events.
  • Representing our company at events and trade fairs.
  • Co-development and implementation of sales strategies.
  • Identification of new business potential, development of new business fields.

Your profile

  • Several years of experience in responsible sales position(s) with consulting-intensive IT solutions.
  • Experience in the successful implementation of complex sales situations.
  • High degree of initiative, independence and commitment.
  • Strong communication, presentation and persuasion skills at decision-maker level.
  • Negotiation skills, ‘closing’ strength and will to succeed.
  • Professional and confident image/presentation appearance as well as responsible approach.
  • Technical understanding and a high affinity for the modern IT environment.
  • Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English.
  • Willingness to travel, possession of a class B car driving license.
